Influenced by the complexity of Mediterranean, Southern French, and Asian cuisine, my innovative style captures their nuanced flavors. From multi-course formal dinners to casual comfort food, I offer my clients a wide range of dishes including New American, Asian Fusion, and New York City Classics with an emphasis on authenticity, clean flavors, the highest quality of ingredients, and creative presentations.

I provide an all-inclusive service, ordering all food and supplies from excellent, known, and dependable resources as well as Union Square farmers market and local Hampton farms. Orchestrating delivery; and, when needed for larger gatherings, additional staff to ensure that the service is gracious, timely, and elegant. I ensure that the kitchen is exceptionally clean and meets the highest organizational standards.
Prior to becoming a private chef, I held positions of Chef de Cuisine in some of the most noteworthy restaurants in the US. Under award-winning James Beard and Michelin Starred including chefs Charles Phan from The Slanted Door in San Francisco, Chef Ola Fendert of Chez Papa Bistrot and Chef Julia McClaskey of Universal Café, I’ve developed a sophistication in food preparation and presentation that set the stage for my personal, innovative style.

Sam Fox, our private chef, first started working for me and my family in early 2019, prepping five meals a week for my family of four. Because of our busy schedules, it has been a luxury and a pleasure to enjoy a lovely meal –prepared expertly by Sam, who provides clear cooking instructions that allow me to complete his delicious meals in minimal time. Always attentive to our dietary requirements (I have a gluten allergy), Sam has worked closely with me to develop creative menus and has handled all of the ordering from the finest butchers, cheese shops, and farmers market in NYC. In addition, Sam has orchestrated some very special formal and informal dinner parties, including colorful cocktail hours. (Sam’s cooking for our annual Robert Burns Supper has become a family tradition.) Sam flawlessly handles menu planning, arranging for and managing additional serving help, cooking and elegant plating of the food. More than a few of our friends have been so impressed that they, too, have used Sam for dinner parties. I highly recommend Sam as a private chef who is prompt, clean, organized and works quickly. And importantly, he is respectful and considerate, and we have always been completely comfortable to have Sam in our home.
